Social Events

In addition to the comprehensive technical program, ISL/NASL 2012 will provide opportunities for delegates to meet, mingle and get to know their professional colleagues in a relaxed setting, outside of the technical and business streams.

Numerous social events are planned and will be included in the full conference registration packages, or can be ordered "a la carte" by delegates attending part of the conference and for accompanying guests.

The program of Social Events includes the following:

Icebreaker “Meet and Greet” Reception
Sunday, June 3, 2012, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Come and meet up with old acquaintances, or introduce yourself to new colleagues from across the country and other parts of the world, as we join together for a complimentary "drinks and nibbles" cocktail reception in the Trade Exhibition Hall.

Trade Show Reception
Monday, June 4, 2012, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
As we have a very full program on Monday ending with the Heim Lecture from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm, we’ll take a break at 5:30 pm to have a drink and some munchies in the Trade Exhibition Hall.

ISL/NASL 2012 Fun Night
Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday night is western night so come decked out in your best cowboy or cowgirl outfit and join us for a western barbeque. Shuttle buses will take us from the Fairmont Banff Springs to MountView Barbeque where you’ll enjoy their famous BBQ Hip of Beef dinner along with great western entertainment and hospitality.
